Personally, I'm not afraid of communism, or communists. I dunno, I think you gotta be a dumbass to think communists are so terrible they are like pedos or mass murders. But in all honesty, we live in a country full of dumbasses. Bush telling the American people that terrorists "hate us because of our freedom". And the very fact Palin was a running for VP, wow I shutter to think this population accepted either into our collective conscience. Look, I dunno about ya'll, but different economic and political ideals other than capitalism don't scare me. I don't get all up in arms thinking that anything other than capitalism is the devils tool. My guess is the only people who want you to be afraid of communists are big business. Who ever would lose most if capitalism was no longer in vogue. But let's be honest, at the heart of American infrastructure we do use things that aren't capitalism. The bailouts, if we were true capitalists, we would have done the right thing. And not use taxpayer money to keep companies aflots. But when faced with the gloom and doom, America will gladly choose communism.
