“This is stupid. They should concentrate more on keeping their locker rooms clean instead of worrying about someone using an iPod nano. Exactly how do they plan on policing this?

So you would take your chances with the handicapped? I'm waiting to see a 60 year old visibly handicapped lady attempt to fit her 95 Ford Taurus between that Enzo and F50..
Only it has nothing to do with racial epithets or anything like that. Joystiq recently contacted 5TH Cell's creative director about the apparent snafu. According to him, "sambo" is an Ecuadorian term for fig leaf gourd. Which looks like this: <insert picture that looks just like the game and almost exactly like a watermelon>!

I get it!-Fry?
A hotel with those features would cost like $50 million to build. It can't possibly cost an extra $1.15 billion just to put a floating hull underneath. Rip off indeed! |

First working laser mike for musicians, maybe. But the CIA and KGB have used similar tech to pick up window vibrations for decades. From Wikipedia:"The technique of using a light beam to remotely record sound probably originated with Léon Theremin in the Soviet Union at or before 1947, when he developed and used the Buran eavesdropping system.[1] This worked by using a low power infrared beam (not a laser) from a distance to detect the sound vibrations in the glass windows.[1][2] Lavrentiy Beria, head of the KGB, had used this Buran device to spy on the U.S., British, and French embassies in Moscow.[2]It has been reported that the National Security Agency makes use of laser microphones.[3]"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laser_microphoneLéon Theremin, of course, is the same guy who invented the Theremin musical instrument. The USSR had him kidnapped so they could use his brain power for this sort of thing. |
