If the Federal Reserve is working in our best interest like they claim a GAO audit only stands to clear their name of all the criticisms over the years.I find it mildly ironic that the biggest opponents of auditing the Federal Reserve claim that the intention of auditing the Fed is ending it when they simultaneously argue that the Fed is looking out for the best interest of country. If they're looking out for our best interests the audit will prove it and all the opponents (including me) will stand in silence; thus, you guys should be bigger supporters of the audit then the proponents themselves because you could shut us up once and for all.If they are doing a good job an audit only serves to validate their existence.
