It was 2002 and I felt they were far too left."this is a false equivalency. do you really equate rush limbaugh, who has hosted a radio show for decades and has millions of listeners, with some guy who lives on your street?you do articulate the choice we're making very aptly though. why is it that killing foreigners is a much easier sell than healing americans? i believe it's because the discussion is largely abstracted. we will fund wars because we know that terrorism is real, and the victims usually haven't done anything to deserve the violence turned on them. even though that risk is mighty small, the narrative is frightening and drives a lot of paranoia. do you remember when you didn't have to take your shoes off in the airport? does that actually make it harder for terrorists or is it just a pain in the ass?i don't know why people don't feel similarly about cancer or depression. those diseases are horrible and they usually don't just strike people who "deserve it". but as long as we are held hostage by fear, we will continue to make these poor choices.

Gorgeous case, but it looks as though he chose aesthetics over usability.That monitor seems incredibly small. It seems almost impossible to use a keyboard or mouse unless you are sitting pretty far from the monitor
