Why do people ***** on Crysis all the time? I thought that beneath all the technical splendor (and the performance issues), that the game play was actually solid and fun as hell too. I love having huge environments and multiple choices on how to approach each fire fight - stealthily take them out one by one with silenced weapons, or drive right into the middle of a camp and mow them down with a mounted MG, or sneak onto one of the sniper towers, knife the sniper and use his rifle to snipe everyone, etc. I just love that kind of stuff. I played both Far Cry and Crysis to death and always loved trying out different approaches.
